    18.01.2012 2012 Chevrolet Global Colorado

General Motors unveiled the global 2012 Chevrolet Colorado powered by a pair of new turbo-diesel four-cylinder Duramax engines. The engines are available in both 2.5-liter and 2.8-liter displacements, with the smaller lump producing 150 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The larger, 2.8-liter turbo diesel yields 180 hp and a very impressive 346 lb-ft of torque. Both engines meet the strict European emission requirements.

The interesting-looking center stack seems to be borrowed from the Chevrolet Captiva. The speedometer and tachometer display is borrowed from the Camaro, and it’s backlit with ice-blue illumination. An information display in the gauge cluster provides travel data, average fuel consumption, total fuel used and more.
