CASE Construction Equipment’s new CX130B and CX160B excavators feature the latest technology to improve productivity, performance and operator comfort. The models feature engines with common rail fuel injection and a redesigned hydraulic system to deliver significantly better fuel consumption compared to their predecessors. Productivity has been enhanced with faster cycle times as a result of greater hydraulic power. For maximum productivity, the new Speed Priority (SP) mode takes advantage of all the available engine and hydraulic power. Compared to the previous model in Heavy mode, up to 17% better fuel consumption can be expected. Auto mode provides a greater emphasis on fuel economy and is most suitable for general work such as loading trucks.

All CX-B excavators feature a full size cab with greater foot room, height adjustable control consoles, fully adjustable seat and increased visibility to the front and side. Servicing a CX-B excavator is easy. Sight gauges are used for hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. Extended maintenance system bushes extend grease intervals out to 1,000 hours for the boom and arm bushes and 250 hours for the bucket bushes.
