20.01.2012 Highway Wheeled Excavator Gradall XL3100 IV

Gradall revealed updated wheeled excavator XL3100 IV with a six-speed AutoDrive Allison automatic transmission and an undercarriage that allows the machine to be driven at speeds up to 60 mph. Operator can drive Gradall at up to 60 mph over interstates and through cities without the need for a trailer, and then reposition the carrier on job sites from the upper cab. There's no more need for a lowboy trailer; no unnecessary transport expense. And no lost time moving the machine to the job and back. Operator cab is designed for operator comfort, with sound-deadening advantages, standard features including air conditioning, AM/FM radio and adjustable seating, plus special options that can reduce fatigue while increasing efficiency.

Machine is equipped with the 218-horsepower Tier 4-I Mercedes engine that also powers the upperstructure boom, including swing motions. Customer can choose between the standard rear-wheel drive 6 x 4 or 4 x 2, or optional 6 x 6 or 4 x 4 capabilities, depending on his needs.
