26.01.2012 Case New C Series Crawler Excavators

Case Construction Equipment is to present seven models in its Tier 4 Interim-powered C Series crawler excavator range at the Intermat 2012 exhibition: the CX130C, CX160C, CX180C, CX210C, CX210C Long Reach, CX470C and CX470C ME. New machines are equipped with Tier 4 Interim compliant engines which use cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) to provide a cleaner burn. Excavators have 10 percent better fuel economy, 3 percent faster cycle times, and 7 percent more lift capacity than the B Series predecessor.

Boom Economy Control lowers engine rpm during boom down and swing operation, and Auto Economy Control lowers rpm when the joysticks are inactive. A full range of buckets and attachments is available for the C Series models. The new C Series cab offers a first-class operator environment, with 5% more space, lower noise levels, increased comfort and a new 7” LED monitor display. The machines’ air conditioning system performance is also improved for increased cooling and heating capacity.
