18.08.2008 Bobcat to redesign its telehandler range

Bobcat (USA) has completed a 24 month program to redesign its entire telehandler range comprising 12 models with maximum lifting heights of 5.2 to 17.4 m. The Tier III engine handlers are built on a common platforms, with the main components and control points situated in the same place on every model. The improved electronics use a new drive controller. The design of the throttle cable has been modified and a new rear boom design eliminates any hose interference. Other changes comprise wider spacing of hydraulic couplers on the booms to make it easier to connect and disconnect attachments.

The continuous development of the Bobcat range of telehandlers over the last 24 months has resulted in completely enhanced machines, which can be distinguished from previous versions by a new colour scheme.
