06.05.2010 Liebherr ER 944 C High Rise Material Handler

The new Liebherr ER 944 C High Rise material handler is based on the proven R 944 C industrial machine and is equipped with a 2-meter tower elevation and high-performance electric drive. The combination of a raised tower and hydraulically-adjustable cab puts the operator’s line of sight at a height of up to 9 meters and thus provides an ideal view.

A high-performance all-rounder, the ER 944 C High Rise is ideal for sorting tasks as well as bulk material handling such as scrap metal, timber or other bulk materials. The 200 kW electric motor is much more economical to operate than a diesel unit with the same rated power output and since emissions are very low, scarcely any environmental pollution occurs.

Weighing approximately 70 metric tonnes, the machine’s high-rise concept gives it an exceptionally large operating radius. Handled material can be stacked up to 22 meters high, which greatly increases the work area’s logistic capacity. With its robust industrial attachment, the ER 944 C High Rise has a working radius of up to 20.5 meters. The lift capacities at its maximum reach are as high as 4.7 tonnes.
