    12.03.2013 Kuehne + Nagel and Iveco have extended logistics services contract

    Swiss global transportation and logistics company Kuehne + Nagel and Italian manufacturer Iveco have extended their logistics services contract for further three years. Under the updated agreement Kuehne + Nagel will manage the five centers of Iveco spare parts distribution in Turin (Italy), Langenau (Germany), Madrid (Spain), Trappes (France) and Winsford (UK).

    Kuehne + Nagel will also provide goods receiving, storage, packaging, distribution, handling of returns, relabeling and repacking if necessary.

    For Kuehne + Nagel the contract extension with Iveco means recognition of its achievements and skills in supply chain innovation in the field of automotive contract logistics.

    Under the previous contract Kuehne + Nagel has successfully deployed an automated storage and retrieval system for Iveco components, its territory covers about 300 000 m3 of logistics space with 160,000 stock-keeping units.
