08.08.2008 New grizzly plant from Nirox

Nirox Ltd based in Northern Ireland has introduced a new Nirox TRG 403 tracked rotary grizzly plant. Nirox has built static and mobile rotary grizzly plants that are highly customizable to suit particular requirements.

The Nirox TRG 403 specification includes a 5.5M long heavy duty scalping drum -1.5M internal diameter which can take a 900 cubic mm lump size. 250mm stone which will come from the discharge end of the drum can be used for rock armour or clean crusher feed. The TRG 403 is constructed for easy mobility and transportation. All three onboard conveyors are hydraulically folding for quick transport and set up time on site. The TRG 403 is equipped with a 96kW (128hp) CAT engine. The TRG 403 can be fed by loading shovel or excavator. The hardox steel hopper with variable speed reciprocating feeder enables the 403 to tackle the most difficult and demanding clean up and sorting tasks. There is also the option of a heavy duty tipping grid for the hopper to allow an additional product to be sized.

The grizzly drum is manufactured from solid steel round bars and steel profile to create the desired aperture. A common example is a 0-80mm fines product, an 80-250mm mid-size product and 250mm plus oversize product.
